What do YOU think of shikotei.com?

Hotlinking is now enabled! With the new link system, bookmarked pages will no longer redirect to the home page, but to the page you bookmarked!
You may find this trivial, but with Iframes on a website, this is hard. I'm really getting into this Javascripting stuff and I must say it's awesome!
Also, I have tested this website on various platforms. Not just Internet Explorer and Firefox, but I've tried loading and browsing the site on a Nintendo Wii, using Philips' NetTV service, Safari and Chrome. ALL browsers functioned properly.
The only thing people could find annoying is that the loading times may not be zero and that the Wii and the NetTV screw up the text size.
I really hope this is the last mayor upgrade I perform for a while, because changing over 400 links is annoying.

What are your thoughts on the story? Should I add something? Remove something? Maybe I should add more information about the surroundings, so that you can better imagine the world in which it all happens?

I've been looking for ways to add comments to these news items. Most of them require PHP knowledge (which I don't have) or going through mail and post them by hand (which will be hell when there's loads of 'em).
So the only thing I can do right now, is to revive a blog (yeah..) with only ONE post from several years ago. A link to the blogpost will be present from now on, just that the older posts will not have the correct date.

Other updates are: I've redefined the way this news is presented. It is now read from a single .XML file, rather than a .txt file for each entry. This lowers the amount of administrative tasks when I want to add a news entry.
More images are now visible on the DeviantArt section. From the 100+ deviations I have on DA, now more than 30 are 'doodled' using my own version of Google's Holiday Doodle 2010. More will be added as I go.

I'm planning to find a way for people to comment on the stories. The easiest way out would be to use a post of the blog and bombard that as feedback section.

edit: Seems the's an annoying bug in here. When I use the apostrophe, the posted version has one extra PER USE.. that's not right, is it? So I replaced them by the HTML code. Fix'd!
